Benefit golf outing in memory of Brynnley

GREENFIELD – Brynnley’s Battle Golf Outing is coming up in August, benefiting the Live Like B Foundation.

The event is at 1 p.m. Aug. 18 at Arrowhead Golf Course, 3974 Club House Drive, Greenfield. Registration is open now through Aug. 10. Sponsorships are also available.

Brynnley, age 6, died in 2021 having had a rare, inoperable cancerous brain tumor. The LiveLikeB Foundation was established in January 2022 by her parents Scott and Kristyn Niederhaus in honor of Brynnley to spread awareness for Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma and childhood cancer. Cancer and cancer treatments can put patients at risk for low blood cell and platelet counts; blood and platelet transfusions can enable patients to receive critical treatments needed to fight and survive cancer.

New Pal hosts online survey

NEW PALESTINE – The town of New Palestine is seeking responses to a community survey in an effort to discover what residents care about and want for the future of the community.

Pork chop dinner Saturday

GREENFIELD – The Green Township Fire Department will benefit from an event this weekend.

The Green Township Annual Pork Chop Dinner is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the fire department, located at Ind. 9 and Ind. 234. The community is invited to see fire trucks and enjoy a meal.

Chamber to host two upcoming events

GREENFIELD – The Greenfield Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting two upcoming events.

The Greenfield Area Chamber Classic Golf Tournament is July 26 at Hawk’s Tail of Greenfield, 145 S. Morristown Pike. Registration is open now; visit greenfieldcc.org or call 317-477-4188.

The 2024 Chocolate Walk is scheduled for 5-8 p.m. Aug. 9 in downtown Greenfield. The event sells out quickly; buy tickets at $20 at greenfieldcc.org.
