The residential real estate market continues to rise in Hancock County.

GREENFIELD – Hancock County’s residential market remained strong in June, according to a press release from the F.C. Tucker Company.

Pended home sales increased 6.5% compared to this time last year in June 2023. Homes sold in 37 days, or more than 45% faster than this time last year. Available housing activity increased more than 13%. The average home sale price increased about 2% to $337,134.

Across the central Indiana region of 16 counties, the average home sale price increased 17% to $370,335. Homes sold in 14 days, or 27% faster than this time last year.
