GREENFIELD – About halfway through summer reading clubs, Hancock County’s children and teens have been keeping busy with live entertainment, art projects, science and more at local libraries.

Performers for families in June at the Hancock County Public Library have included a live animal show, puppeteers and live music such as Island Mixtape and Chalkfest. A Star Wars Solstice Party invited people to come dressed as young padawans and Jedi masters while cosplayers from the greater Indianapolis area joined in for photos.
