MCCORDSVILLE
Mary Ann (Wilkin) Morales, 66, of McCordsville, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. She was born April 29, 1958, in Greenfield, IN.
Mary Ann was a 1976 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School. She received her bachelor’s degree in 1981 from ISU and her Master’s in Education also from ISU. Mary Ann was an Elementary Teacher for IPS for 30 years, retiring in 2017. She was a member of Calvary Christian Fellowship. Mary Ann was a devoted wife, mother, grandma, daughter, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her husband Tony Morales whom she married June 28, 1986; children Ashley (Kyle) Duncan of Brownsburg and Daniel Morales of McCordsville; grandchildren Isaiah and Grace; siblings Mark (Debra) Wilkin of New Palestine and Melinda Kent of McCordsville; stepfather Terrence “Ted” Woodard of McCordsville; and beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Gerald Wilkin and mother Mary Elizabeth “Liz” Wilkin Woodard.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 5, 2024, from 3 to 7 pm and Saturday from 10 AM until the time of service at Calvary Christian Fellowship, 79 S. 700 W., Cumberland, IN 46229. A funeral to celebrate Mary Ann’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Calvary Christian Fellowship. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
