PENDLETON
Dr. Bonnie M. Pilbeam, 69, of Pendleton, passed away on June 11, 2024, at her home. She was born December 30, 1954, in Shreveport, LA, the daughter of George and Mary Pilbeam, Jr.
Bonnie was a graduate of Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. For the last 30 years she had her own practice in Pendleton, Pets &Vets. Bonnie’s passion was caring for pets to increase their quality of life.
She was active with the local 4-H dog club and various canine sports clubs.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and a brother in infancy, George Pilbeam III.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Roger Porter; her siblings, Gregory Pilbeam (Kathy), M. Rebecca Hunt (Steve), Beth Marcellus (George), and Douglas Pilbeam (Barbara); numerous nieces and nephews; and her many canine companions.
A celebration of Bonnie’s life will be held by her family at a later date.
