Concerts coming up this week in Greenfield

GREENFIELD – Several free concerts are coming up over the next week in Greenfield.

At the Hancock County Fairgrounds, Chloe Anna Kenny performs June 21 at 8:15 p.m. Tim Coffey performs at 6 p.m. June 22; Nebo Ridge, 6 p.m. June 23; the Carl Bentley Band, 6 p.m. June 24; Southern Distinction, 6 p.m. June 25; and the Eastern Wing Band, 6 p.m. June 26. Stella Luna and the Satellites are also performing June 26, but there is a cover charge. Most shows are at the Pioneer Building, while Stella Luna performs at the 4-H Bowl. The Hancock County Fairgrounds is at 620 Apple St., Greenfield.

Also in Greenfield but at an indoor venue is a live jazz concert by the Phelps Connection. The group performs at 6:30 p.m. June 24 at the Hancock County Public Library; reserve a free seat at hcplibrary.org.

Vendor market coming to fair this week

GREENFIELD — The Country Vintage Market is coming to the Hancock County 4-H Fair this year.

The market is hosted by the Hancock County Extension Homemakers and the HC 4-H Ag Association and will feature local vendors in two buildings on the fairgrounds from 1-9 p.m. this Wednesday.

Pennsy Trail Bike Tour coming up

GREENFIELD – A first Pennsy Trail Bike Tour is coming up this Saturday, in a family-friendly event hosted by Greenfield Parks and Recreation.

The free event encourages people to bring their own bicycles and join in a guided exploration of the history and scenery that surrounds the Pennsy Trail. Great Hancock Hunt this Saturday

GREENFIELD – The Great Hancock Hunt is Saturday, raising money for Hancock County Senior Services.

The event is a twist on a traditional scavenger hunt. Download an app and work with a team to choose missions around Hancock County. The teams with the most points win prizes. Be prepared to answer trivia, submit photo and video evidence at landmarks across Hancock County and more. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the hunt kicks off at 9:30 a.m. at 1870 Field Blvd., Greenfield. Cost is $50 per team. Sign up at hancockhunt4hcss.eventbrite.com.

Children’s theater performance next week

GREENFIELD – Check out the theatrical, musical and stage production work of dozens of Hancock County children in “Wagon Wheels West” next week.

Hancock County Children’s Theater, an annual month-long summer program that teaches theater production, will present its show at 7 p.m. June 28 and June 29 at Greenfield-Central High School, 810 N. Broadway St., Greenfield. Tickets are $7; call 317-462-6222 to purchase tickets in advance.
