Pennsy Trail Bike Tour coming up

GREENFIELD – A first Pennsy Trail Bike Tour is coming up June 22, in a family-friendly event hosted by Greenfield Parks and Recreation.

The free event encourages people to bring their own bicycles and join in a guided exploration of the history and scenery that surrounds the Pennsy Trail. Designer purse fundraiser June 20

GREENFIELD – Summer Bingo Bash will raise money for meals on Wheels of Hancock County, with designer purses, raffles, purse pulls and more.

The event is June 20 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 515 Jefferson Blvd., Greenfield. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and games start at 6:30 p.m.

Chamber celebration coming up

GREENFIELD – The 2024 Community Walk of Fame Awards Celebration is scheduled for June 27.

The event is hosted by the Greenfield Area Chamber of Commerce. It will be at St. Michael Parish Life Center, 519 Jefferson St., Greenfield from 6-8 p.m. June 27. Tickets are $50 and includes dinner with guest speaker Randy Ollis.

The chamber recognizes exemplary individuals and businesses in the community who dedicate outstanding efforts above and beyond their usual job performance. Nominees for businessman of the year are Jake Adams, Derek Rogers and Mike Manship. Nominees for businesswoman of the year are Kathy Hall, Beth Marsh and Leslie Frady. The entrepreneurial spirit nominees are Steve Long, Thomas Moore and Hart Summeier. Nominees for non-profit of the year are Bentley’s Buddies and Friends, Changing Footprints and Women’s Resource Center. Chamber champion nominees are Jane Barton, Kelley Holden and Louise Thompson.
