The themes for the week vary and may bring to mind a rushing rapids, or deep-sea diving, or spinning disco balls.

But the underlying purpose behind them all is much the same: Bring children together to learn more about God.

Area congregations have Vacation Bible School planned throughout the summer, with Bible stories, games, crafts and snacks planned for children.

Here’s where to find the action.
