Lindell “Lin” Parsons, 86 of Greenfield died at home surrounded by his loved ones April 27, 2024. He was born to William Odell and Delphia Ann (Parnell) Parsons in Steele, Missouri, April 16, 1938. He was a long-time resident of Greenfield and graduated from Greenfield High School in 1957. He worked in automobile sales for 56 years before retiring this year from Dellen Automotive in Greenfield.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Linda Raney Parsons, sons Colbey, Rhett and Wiley all of Greenfield, Grandchildren Elliott, Jenna, Gaige and Grant Parsons, sister Diana (Joe) Collingwood, brother Victor (Gloria) Parsons, many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Roy and Philip Parsons.

He was a PAWS Hancock animal rescue volunteer dog foster and asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to PAWS Hancock at 1224 W. Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140 or at www.pawshancock.org

The family would like to thank the Doctors and nurses at the Sue Ann Wortman Cancer Center, Hancock Regional Hospital ICU, and Gentiva Hospice for the compassionate care they provided.

There will be a Celebration of Life open house dinner for friends, family and coworkers on Memorial Day, Monday May 27th from 1pm to 4pm at the Greenfield VFW #2693, located at 529 Apple St, Greenfield, IN 46140
