Homeschool curriculum sale May 15
GREENFIELD – A homeschool curriculum sale is coming up May 15.
An American Heritage Girls troop is hosting the sale as a fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 15 at Park Chapel Christian Church, 1176 E. McKenzie Road, Greenfield.
Lunch and bake sale items will be available for purchase, as well as several local homeschoolers selling books and educational materials.
Earth Day event Saturday in Fortville
FORTVILLE – Celebrate Earth Day at a family event at the Vernon Township Public Library.
Drop by the library between 1-2 p.m. this Saturday to pick up wildflower seed mix, create an Earth Day suncatcher, customize a garden marker and learn about ways to protect the planet. The library is located at 625 E. Broadway St., Fortville. For more information, visit vtpl.lib.in.us.
Donations accepted for summer camp program
GREENFIELD – Nameless Creek Camp is accepting donations to help students get a summer camp experience.
The Plug Into Nature Camp will be July 8-12, offering children entering third through fifth grades a five-day experience with nature exploration, arts and crafts, sports and more.
