Mandrell receives support for state representative from past county officials

GREENFIELD — Kevin Mandrell, Republican candidate for State Representative of District 53 announced in a press release that he had received endorsements from former Hancock County Commissioners Tom Stevens, Brad Armstrong, Derek Towle, and Marc Huber.

The past commissioners have worked with Mandrell over the years and commended his dedication to improving Hancock County.

“Kevin Mandrell has been a valuable partner in our efforts to better serve the residents of Hancock County,” said Stevens in the press release. “His work on our health insurance plans saved the county significant funds while providing better coverage for our employees. I am proud to endorse him for State Representative.”

Armstrong spoke similar of Mandrell, stating in the press release, “Kevin’s commitment to our community has been present for years. He has always put the needs of our community first, and I have no doubt that he will continue to do so as our next State Representative.”

Towle and Huber said in the press release that Mandrell is an experienced professional, understanding complexities of issues and that his approach and dedication to finding solutions “make him the ideal candidate.”

Mandrell said he was thankful for the endorsements from the former commissioners, stating in the press release, “I am honored to have the support of former Commissioners Stevens, Armstrong, Towle, and Huber. Working with them over the years has been a privilege, and I appreciate their confidence in me. If elected, I look forward to continuing to serve our community in a new capacity by serving as the citizens’ voice, but in the role as State Representative.”
