HANCOCK COUNTY – Local libraries have announced several programs for adults coming up in March.
Vinyasa Yoga is every Saturday morning at the Sugar Creek branch of the Hancock County Public Library, 5731 W. U.S. 52, New Palestine.
Retirement Basics will be at 6:30 p.m. March 4 at the main branch of the HCPL, 900 W. McKenzie Road, Greenfield. The Greenfield site will also host an Emergency Pack Workshop on March 14, featuring tips from Hancock County Emergency Management.
The HCPL also offers adult book clubs, a crafting club, a writing group, tech help drop-in and genealogy research. For dates, times and registration, visit hcplibrary.org.
In Fortville, Tuesday Morning Club for seniors continues through March, as well as adult English classes at the Vernon Township Public Library, 625 E. Broadway St., Fortville. The library is also launching a March Madness program, with book-themed voting each week. Fill out a bracket by March 2 to be eligible for a grand prize of a free book for a perfect bracket.
