BLOOMINGTON — New Palestine’s girls gymnastics team earned a fourth-place finish at Saturday’s Bloomington North Valentine’s Invitational.
The Dragons had a team score of 92.25.
Chiara Polo was seventh in the all-around with a score of 30.85. She placed fifth on vault with a total of 8.525. Polo had a New Pal-best eighth-place finish on uneven bars with a 7.125.
Rebecca Johnson was eighth all-around with a 30.825. She was sixth on vault with a score of 8.5.
Reagan Seal had the best New Palestine score on balance beam with an 8.125. She was also top finisher on floor exercise with a score of 7.95, earning her 12th place.
The Dragons did not have a full squad at the meet. They were missing two gymnasts that were with the cheerleading team at a national competition in Florida.
New Palestine returns to action Thursday at Morristown.
