GREENFIELD – Home sale prices decreased in Hancock County to start the new year, according to a press release this week from F.C. Tucker Company.
In January, the average home sale price decreased 9.3% to $306,122 compared to January 2023. Available housing inventory decreased 25.1% compared to this time last year, and pending home sales decreased 32.7%.
Hancock County saw the greatest decrease in pending sales compared to the 16-county central Indiana region.
Overall, the 16-county region saw available housing inventory increase 1.6% compared to this time last year, with the average home sale price %326,978 in January 2023.
