Eastern Hancock’s girls basketball team completed an undefeated Mid-Eastern Conference season with a 75-44 victory at Randolph Southern (13-7, 4-4) Tuesday.

The Royals, ranked No. 3 in the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association Class 2A poll, improved to 20-1 overall and 8-0 in the MEC. They finish the regular season Thursday with a home game against Tri (20-2).

At Randolph Southern, Sammie Bolding led three double-figure scorers with 24 points. Kenzie Koch added 19 and Ruby White scored 11. Bolding hit six 3-pointers. Koch had three. Nine different Royals players scored.

Cougars win 16th game

Greenfield-Central won its 16th game of the season, the most for the girls basketball program since a 17-win season in 2016-17, by defeating host Yorktown 51-33, Tuesday.

The Cougars are 16-6 overall and finish Hoosier Heritage Conference play 5-2. Yorktown dropped to 13-9 and 3-3.

Madison Sonsini led Greenfield-Central with 17 points. Brooklyn McConnell scored 13. Izzy Silcox and Chaney Brown each scored nine.

Greenfield-Central ends the regular season Thursday, at home, against Southport.
