GREENFIELD
Mary Ruth Barnhart, 92, of Greenfield passed away on the afternoon of Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Morristown Manor. She was born on November 19, 1931, a daughter of the late Paul and Dorothy (Spegal) Holliday.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, homemaker, caregiver and friend who enjoyed Sunday afternoon meals with her family.
Those left to cherish her memory include five children, Connie (David) McCord, Gary (Kathy) Barnhart, Debbie (Mark) Hudson, Jeff (Cathy) Barnhart and Rob (Linda) Barnhart; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; a brother, Steve (Candice) Holliday.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 72 years, James “Jim” Barnhart; a granddaughter, Jessica Nicole Barnhart.
A memorial graveside will be held in the spring at Park Cemetery in Greenfield, IN.
