PARKER CITY – Eastern Hancock led at the end of each quarter and evened its record at 6-6 with a 41-33 Mid-Eastern Conference win at Monroe Central Friday.
The Royals led 12-11 after one, 22-15 at halftime and 33-25 heading into the fourth quarter.
Along with improving to .500 overall, the Royals are 3-2 in MEC play.
Monroe Central dropped to 7-8 and 1-2.
Charlie Halcomb led scoring for Eastern Hancock with 12 points. Kayden Ruble had 10 points and eight rebounds. Luke Morris followed with seven and Caiden Willis added six. Eli Manship and Caden Powers each had two points.
Eastern Hancock is back in action tonight with another MEC contest. The Royals host Shenandoah.
