GREENFIELD
Stephen Ray Scott, 62, passed away on December 22, 2023 at Greenfield Healthcare Center. He was born in Greenfield, IN to David H. and Eileen E. (nee Griffith) Scott on September 8, 1961.
Stephen was a 1980 graduate of Greenwood High School, where he was the school photographer and member of the football team. His love for photography continued throughout life as he became an accomplished photographer. He made a lasting impression wherever he worked, including Uber, the Indianapolis Airport, Marsh Supermarkets, GTE, Verizon, and Bissell.
Stephen is survived by his sister, Sandra (Herlen) Lowe, and brother, Jeff (Jenny Niec) Scott, as well as his daughters Kaitie (Albert) Tackett, Becky (Victor) Perez Leon, and granddaughters Kennedy, Aleah, Brooklynn, and Mya. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, David G Scott, and daughter, Allie Belle Scott. He leaves behind a niece and a nephew and extended family and friends that will miss him dearly.
Steve was an avid Colts, Pacers, and Indy racing fan. A tried and true fan, he could always be found rooting on his “Boys in Blue”.
He will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery next to his daughter Allie, with a celebration of life to follow in the spring of 2024.
