GREENFIELD
Eileen Audrey Butterfield, 94, Greenfield, IN passed away on December 14, 2023 in Pendleton, IN. She was born on March 26, 1929 in Ipswich, England.
Survivors include daughter, Janet (Allan) Mattsey; son, Mark Butterfield; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; nephews and nieces, Ralph and Margaret Miller, and Tony Jackson. She was preceded in death by parents, Arthur and Telitha (Ranson) Miller; husband, Bill Butterfield; sons, Steven L. and Scott M. Butterfield; brother, Reginald Miller; sisters, Gladys Richardson and Lucy Fisher.
Eileen was an executive secretary for P.R. Mallory for 30 years. In 1979 she received an award from Rotary International for her work with foreign exchange students and many bowling trophies. She was a member of the Tea-Pot Club, a group of British war brides that came to the U.S. after WWII, that met monthly and was initiated in 1946. Their 70th Anniversary was celebrated June 2016. Enjoyed dancing, music, horse racing, traveling, bowling, reading, playing cards, loved flowers and a beautiful garden. She was a wonderful mother, Nanny, and Great Nanny.
