STATEHOUSE — State Sen. Michael Crider (R-Greenfield) gathered with fellow legislators Tuesday at the Statehouse for Organization Day — the ceremonial start of the Indiana General Assembly.
Organization Day marks the annual first roll call of all state lawmakers. This also provides members of the Senate and House of Representatives the opportunity to meet before session officially reconvenes in January. By state law, the 2024 session will conclude on or before March 14.
“My colleagues and I have looked at a number of issues affecting our state over the summer, and I am looking forward to addressing these and other concerns this session,” said Crider in the press release. “I am excited to begin work to improve Indiana, making it a better place to live, work and raise a family.”
Crider encourages residents of Senate District 28 to contact him with any questions or comments they may have as the 2024 session gets underway. Crider can be reached via email at [email protected] or by phone at 800-382-9467.
