GREENFIELD
Carolyn Dee Glazier passed away on August 27, 2023. She was born in 1937 in Knox County, Indiana to Helen and Paul Freeman. She graduated valedictorian from Petersburg H.S. in 1955. She graduated from Evansville University Nursing School in 1959. She married Robert (Bob) C. Glazier in 1990. She is survived by her husband; brother, Robert (Bob) Freeman of Bedford, IN; daughter-in-law, Melanie Champion of Madison, WI; stepson, Mark (Leann) Glazier of Greenfield; and stepdaughter-in-law Missy Glazier of Fortville, IN. She had 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents of Bedford, IN; her son, Stephen P. Champion, MD of Columbus, IN; and her stepson, Craig G. Glazier of Fortville, IN.
Carolyn enjoyed solving crossword and jigsaw puzzles and traveling to Maine with her husband. She was an avid bird watcher and nature lover.
The families are eternally grateful to Suburban Hospice and Suburban Home Health teams for their professionalism and expediency of care given to Carolyn and Bob.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 am, Saturday September 16, 2023, at Park Cemetery, Greenfield, IN. with Pastor Lance Conway officiating.
