FORTVILLE — The Indiana Department of Transportation announced that starting on or after Aug. 23, a temporary portable traffic signal between Garden Street and CR N 200 W will be installed to replace flagging operations. The temporary traffic signal will remain in place until the end of the day Aug. 26, weather depending. This will allow crew to address and repair erosion on the shoulder. All work is weather-dependent and subject to change. In the meantime, INDOT wants to remind drivers to consider worker safety by slowing down and driving distraction free in work zones.
