INDIANAPOLIS, IN
Glen Paul Strange, 60 of Indianapolis, IN passed into the next life on August 18, 2023. Glen was born at Hancock County Hospital in Greenfield, IN on June 5, 1963, and passed away after a battle with Type 2 Diabetes, stage 4 kidney disease and congestive heart failure while at home in the care of Anew Hospice.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Paul Strange, Jr. and Joyce Ann Jarrett-Strange; his maternal grandparents, Paul and Marjorie Jarrett; as well as his paternal grandparents, Don Strange and Albertine Campbell.
He is survived by his sister, Dawn Renee’ Strange-Polk and her husband Donald L. Polk and nephew, Ellis Paul Allen.
Glen was a 1981 Graduate of Mt. Vernon High School where he participated in band, choir, drama club, and MVHS first year’s swim team. He went on to study at Ball State University and Lockyear College. He worked for many years in the retail and property management fields. Glen had also been a member of the Mason’s and Indiana Falcons.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. The viewing will be on Saturday, August 26th from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM with services following immediately at 11:00 AM at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, formerly known as Hendryx Mortuary in Cumberland, IN. In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation be made to the John C. Beeson Humanitarian Fund c/o Hancock County Community Foundation, 312 E. Main Street, #B Greenfield, IN 46140 in his memory.
