GREENFIELD – There are still a few options for backpack and school supply giveaways before the start of the new school year.
Verizon stores in Greenfield and McCordsville will hand out backpacks full of school supplies beginning at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 30 while supplies last. The School Rocks Backpack Giveaway, is located at 1306 N. State St., Greenfield; and 6869 W. Broadway St., McCordsville.
Back to School Affair is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 30 at J & K Market N Style, 16A N. State St., Greenfield. The event will include free backpacks and school supplies, a drink and snack fundraiser, glitter tattoos and balloon animals. Backpacks and supplies are available while supplies last.
A Back to School Celebration will be at Mt. Comfort Church at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, July 30. The free community event will include a school supply giveaway, lunch, bounce house, ice cream and yard games. The Mt. Comfort Campus of the church is located at 3179 N. 600W., Greenfield.
