GREENFIELD
Dewey Page, 93, entered heaven on July 16, 2023. He was born to Dewey A. Page and Lillian L.( Van Dneck) Page on April 23, 1930. Sgt. Dewey Page served in the United States Air Force, and during his time was awarded several medals, including the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, and the Good Conduct medal. After an honorable discharge, Dewey became a civilian employee at Fort Harrison in Indianapolis, Indiana until his retirement. In his retirement, Dewey was a reliable handyman in great demand by family and friends. Dewey said “yes” to Jesus at the 1980 Billy Graham crusade and his life reflected his faith. Special thanks to Gary Smith and family, and to Bud Spangler and Dewey’s Calvary church family who loved Dewey well and included him in their lives. When Dewy wasn’t working or at church, he could be found on the golf course or watching golf on television. In his later years, he was best known for his iconic fruit salad and marshmallow salad, his classic Irish goodbyes at family gatherings, and impeccable secret santa gifts. Dewey will be missed by all those who survive him including his sister Leona Seaborg, his nieces Marla Seaborg, Pam (Page) Jackson, Ronda Robinson, Ramona Robinson, and Sherry Robinson; his nephews, Hal Page and Ross Seaborg. Dewey will join his sister who preceded him in death, Rose Marie (Page) Robinson. The visitation will be held July 26th from 1 to 3 PM followed by the service from 3 to 4 PM at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Home at 10722 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229. Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Church.
