INGALLS
Stanley Alan Head, 70, of Ingalls, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, July 13, 2023. He was born June 10, 1953, in Anderson, Indiana to Stanley L. and Bonnie (Holmes) Head. Alan was a 1971 graduate of Pendleton Heights High School and a member of the UAW Local 1111. He was a member of the Fortville F &AM Lodge No. 207. Alan enjoyed going to Anderson Speedway, collecting Hot Wheel cars, any casino or flea market. He also loved muscle cars. Alan retired from Ford Motor Company in 2005 after 32 years’ service. After retirement Alan worked at Fortville Feeders and the City of Fishers Street Department.
Alan is survived by his wife Denise (Watson) Head, whom he married February 27, 1976, son Heath (Julie) Head of Fortville, Alison (Lonny) Burton of Ingalls; grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Victoria, Keelie, Celia, John Ross, Shea and Shelby; 4 greatgrandchildren, mother: Bonnie Head of Pendleton; siblings: Randy (Becky) Head, Phillip (Lori) Head, and Lisa Head as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in passing by his father Stanley L. Head and his loyal four-legged companion Sugar.
Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville where Masonic Memorial Rites will take place at 7:30 pm. A funeral to celebrate Alan’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 21, 2023, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Burial will take place at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
