It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Keith D. Miller age 80, Greenfield, Indiana, previous a lifelong resident of Chatsworth, Illinois. Keith was born in Fairbury, IL to the parents of Carl and Elsie Miller. He now reunites with his parents and his brothers, Stanley Hill, David Hill, Gerald Miller, and John Miller and niece Diane Hill who preceded him in death. Keith loved the farm life and was his happiest when he was spending time there. He was owner of KDM Showpigs and loved meeting old friends while traveling and showing pigs.His greatest joy was attending his Grandkids any and all events throughout their school & college years and spending time with family there.

Keith was also was owner and operator of the Sears Catalog Store in Chatsworth, Illinois, and later an employee of Prairie Central High School, where he found joy in mixing with the kids on a daily basis.

Surviving is his wife of 53 years Sandy, his son K. Douglas Miller (Denise), New Palestine, IN, and step daughters, that he considered daughters, Tracy Starkjohann (Chris), Oceanside, CA, and Kristi Seaman (Bob) of Noblesville, IN. and Grandchildren Peyton Miller, Alaina Miller, and Saydie Miller, New Palestine, and Jason(Colette) Seaman, Nobelsville, IN., and Jeremy Seaman (Aussie) of Sun Tan Valley, AZ. And Victoria Starkjohann(Buzzard), CA. Including Great-grandchildren, Jamison, Emery and Aubrey Seaman, Noblesville, IN and Ellie and Jensen Seaman of San Tan Valley, AZ, and as well as special nieces and nephews Mark Hill, Nancy Hill, David Hill, Jane Hill, & Janise Hill.

Keith passing after a short illness was peacefully at home which was his wish, with family at his side.

We take solace in the fact that he is now at rest and free from pain and suffering.

Keith was knowledgeable in many fields, always ready to help and give advice anyone in need.

He graduated from Chatsworth High School, Chatsworth, Illinois in 1961, upon which he continued to serve in the Illinois National Guard for 8 years. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Chatsworth, as well a member of the National Swine Registry, Illinois Pork Producers, Illinois Duroc Assococition, Illinois Landrace Association, American Legion Post 613, Prairie Central High School Booster Club and served on the Town Board of Chatsorth.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Liver Foundation or the donors wishes.

A memorial graveside service will be held at Chatsworth-Charlotte Cemetery, Chatsworth, IL on July 8th 2023 at 10:00AM. Pastor Connie Frase will be officiating.

Interment will be at a later date.

The family wishes for everyone to know casual attire is welcome.
