GREENFIELD – Local nonprofit organizations are encouraged to apply to benefit from the upcoming Steak ‘n Bake ‘n Raffle.
The Rotary Club of Greenfield is hosting the event Sept 30. Last year, more than $69,000 was raised for nine Hancock County organizations.
The fundraiser encourages nonprofits to garner new dollars from Sept. 1 to Sept. 30; the top five organizations that bring in the most money will get to split the profits raised at the raffle of the event. The remaining five will retain the dollars that they raised.
To apply, send a one-page summary of the nonprofit’s mission statement, vision, impact, and number of people served annually; the 501(c)3 letter; and the most recent year’s financials to [email protected] no later than July 28. Each nonprofit will be invited to give their elevator speech at the Rotary meeting Aug. 17; the top 15 nonprofits will be accepted. If fewer than 15 apply, all will be accepted.
Rotarians are requesting nonprofits help promote the event through social media and to donors. Nonprofits are encouraged to attend the event and bring board members.
