Eyeglass collection drive this month
GREENFIELD – New and used eyeglasses will be accepted the entire month of June in support of Lions Optical Missions.
Erlewein Mortuary and Crematory is hosting an eyeglass collection drive. Drop off glasses at 1484 W. U.S. 40, Greenfield.
Bingo event to benefit Talitha Koum
GREENFIELD – A Designer Purse Bingo event is coming up next month to raise money for the Talitha Koum Women’s Recovery House.
The event is at 6 p.m. July 14 at Adaggios, 5999 W. Memory Lane, Greenfield. The $40 ticket includes dinner, mocktails and 10 Bingo games. Tickets can be purchased at Cynthia’s Hallmark, Penny’s Florist, The Landing Place or from any TK board member. Cash or checks are required for advance purchase and for items at the event. Fortville Summerfest in the works
FORTVILLE – The annual Fortville Summerfest is coming up next month.
The event will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. July 8 and feature a fireworks display at dusk. All-day activities include a kids zone with bounces houses and face painters, more than 70 vendors and live music. The festival will be at Landmark Park, 200 E. Church St., Fortville.
