GREENFIELD – Two upcoming events to help local leaders plan for the future of Hancock County are coming up.

The Community Foundation of Hancock County is hosting two Pop Shop events, inviting people to hone their creative talents and imagine the future through the architecture, artwork, landscaping, signing and graphics of the community. Participants will brainstorm and learn how visual features can hurt or help a community; see unique communities from around the world; and envision ideas about how to make Hancock County a better place to live for the future.

Registration is open to the first 100 people ages 14 and older. Session one is 10 a.m. to noon July 14; session two is 10 a.m. to noon Aug. 12 with a picnic. The events will be at The Thrive Center of the new foundation building, 971 W. U.S. 40, Greenfield. For more, visit CelebrateHancock.org or email [email protected].
