Kimberly Ann Kelly, 61, of Albion, IN, passed away on January 1, 2023, due to liver failure caused by complications from Primary Biliary Cholangitis. She was surrounded by her husband, daughters, son-in-law, sister, father, and stepmother when she passed.

Kim was born on September 16, 1961, to Harold “Skip” and Deloris “Doty” Roberts in Indianapolis. She graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1979 and soon after met Jon Kelly, her Jonny. They were married on September 11, 1982, and went on to have two daughters, Jasey and Laine.

Kim was an absolutely doting mother who empowered her daughters to grow up as strong, independent women with a thirst for adventure. She loved spending time with her family and friends and was known for her generous spirit, exceptional sense of humor, and contagious laugh.

She adored children and was a beloved preschool teacher and recess aide. She kept in touch with and was involved with many of her kids as they grew up; several of her kids and their families became and remain close family friends.

Kim was predeceased by her mother, Doty Roberts. She is survived by her husband, Jon; daughter, Jasey Hizer; daughter, Laine Hegness; step-granddaughter, Adelyn Hegness; father, Skip Roberts; and sister, Robin Moore.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary &Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. The funeral service will begin at 6:00 p.m.
