GREENFIELD

Robert (Bob) Russell Kinnett, 88 of Greenfield, Indiana passed away on November 12, 2022, of complications from Congestive Heart Failure and pneumonia.

Bob was born in Indianapolis on May 12, 1934, to Clifford L. Kinnett and Mary V. (Blanchard) Kinnett. He was a graduate of Broad Ripple High School, where he met the love of his life, Pauline A. Lee. They were married in 1955 and recently celebrated 67 years of marriage.

Bob was a proud union brick mason. Actually, he was more of a brick artist than mason. His incredible skill and expertise with brick and mortar were well known. Up until he passed away, people were calling to see if he was available to work on a masonry project (even though he officially retired 25 years ago).

As incredible as he was at work, he was an even better husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. A member of Shiloh Christian Church, his Christian values and love of Christ were demonstrated everyday in all that he did. He was always trying to bring out the best in everyone and every situation. He set an amazing example for everyone, and he will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his loving wife Pauline, children Terry (Dewesa) Kinnett, Gwen (Jan) Cochard, Gayle Harrison, grandchildren Heather Kinnett, Terry R. Kinnett, Charles Cochard, Steven Cochard, Christina Cochard, Tess Sylvester, great grandchildren Taylor, Nathan, Austin, Ellie, Zoey, Nora, William, Ames, Cade, Eliza, Samuel and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, brother Richard, half-sister Norma and son David.

Visitation will be on Friday, November 18, 2022, from 4 to 8 pm at Erlewein Mortuary &Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A memorial service will be held at the mortuary on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 10:30 am. Burial will follow the funeral at Memorial Park Cemetery, Indianapolis.
