Victoria Whittington, age 66, of Greenfield, passed away Monday, October 31, 2022 at Community East Hospital. Born on July 1, 1956, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Anthionette (Denzio) and Finis T. Norris Jr. Victoria was a 1975 graduate of New Palestine High School and for over 14 years, she worked for Navistar in Indianapolis. On October 23, 1973, she married Paul Whittington in Fountaintown.

Victoria was very proud to be baptized into new life with Christ in 2007. She enjoyed all the holidays and was happy to carry on the family tradition of Christmas baking and candy making as well as throwing her annual Halloween party for her grandchildren. For several years, she enjoyed bowling and even went to Las Vegas to compete with work friends. Victoria enjoyed going on vacations – especially to the beach. She was the best sports mom and granny and loved cheering on the Royals while ringing the cowbell.

Victoria is survived by her loving husband, Paul of Greenfield; children, Paul E. Whittington Jr. (Tara) and Finis Everett “Robert” Whittington (Erika) all of Wilkinson; grandchildren, Blake, Aubrey, Lauren and Asher Whittington; siblings, Barbara Mounce (Robert) of New Palestine, Sandra Hittle of Indianapolis, Karen Pope (Jay) of Pendleton, James Norris (Kathy) of Indianapolis; father and mother-in-law, Louise and Jenelle Leisure; sister-in-law, Kathy Sorrell (Perry) of Greenfield; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; nephew, Taylor Pope; and father-in-law, Paul Whittington.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at the mortuary on Monday, November 7, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mike Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Fountaintown Cemetery.
