GREENFIELD
GREENFIELD – Gayle (Leonard) Hunt passed away October 18th, 2022 surrounded by the ones she loved the most. Gayle was born October 29th, 1956, to Robert “Bob” and Maryann “Annie” Leonard in Greenfield, Indiana. Gayle married the love of her life, Tom Hunt, on July 19th, 1983.
Gayle’s life was devoted entirely to her family. She had such a deep love for everyone who walked into her life. She watched numerous amounts of children who she loved as her own. She then spent many years working with individuals with special needs. She retired from Bethesda Lutheran Communities in 2020, so she could spend time enjoying life with Tom. Gayle enjoyed spending every moment she had with her kids, grandsons, and her dear sisters.
Gayle is survived by her Father, Robert “Bob” (Mary) Leonard of Greenfield; two sons, Kolby Hunt and Corey (Lauren) Hunt both of Greenfield; her beloved grandkids, Cade and Cannon Hunt of Greenfield; sisters, Becky (Brian) Carter and Nancy (Bob) Wampler both of Greenfield. She is also survived by aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Gayle was preceded in death by her mother, Maryann “Annie” Leonard; and her devoted Husband Tom.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary &Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will begin at 6:00 p.m.
