GREENFIELD – There’s no need to travel far or spend a fortune on live music this summer.

There’s a free concert in Hancock County nearly every week from June to August. Country, blues, rock and plenty of genres in between will grace the stages of local venues.

The new Depot Street Park in downtown Greenfield will host two concert series, Entertainment @ Depot Street Park (formerly hosted at the courthouse plaza) and Live at the Rails.

New Palestine will host its annual Music on Depot series, and the family-friendly Blues, Beer and BBQ series will be hosted in Cumberland.

Sprinkle in live entertainment at community festivals and even some music at the Hancock County Public Library, and local residents need to just pack a lawn chair and drive around the corner for a good time.
