GREENFIELD
Rex W. Hoskins, 54, of Greenfield passed away Friday, April 22, 2022 at Homestead Healthcare in Greenwood. He was born January 31, 1968 in Indianapolis, Indiana, a son of Jim Rex Hoskins and Pamela (Flemming) Bowen.
Rex had been employed at Caterpillar in Greenfield for 6 years. He was formerly employed at BFI in Indianapolis, for 7 years and also worked in construction for many years. Rex enjoyed watching movies, reading and anything ghost related. A sports enthusiast, he enjoyed NASCAR, fishing, hiking and cooking out. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include three children, Jeffrey Greenlee (Michelle Shetler) of Greenwood, Alisha Hoskins of Versailles, Kentucky and Brittany Hoskins (fiance’ Daphne Williams) of Greenfield; two grandchildren Brayden Niehaus and Brianna Clark; mother, Pamela (Roger) Bowen of Lapel; siblings; Libby (Adrian) Blair of Somerset, Kentucky and James (Stephanie) Hoskins of New Palestine; several nieces & nephews; and his favorite dog: Buddy.
In addition to his father, Rex was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Hoskins; and a brother, Brandon Hoskins.
Service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Pastor Jim Hughes officiating.
