HANCOCK COUNTY — Indiana Paralegal Association has established the Cathy Canny Paralegal Scholarship Fund to honor the late Cathy Canny.
Canny, a long-time IPA member and resident of New Palestine, died in January.
She served in the paralegal profession for more than 40 years.
She was a litigation paralegal with Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP and has been memorialized on the firm’s webpage, taftlaw.com.
Canny was an active, dedicated member and Past President of the Indiana Paralegal Association, recipient of its Lifetime Achievement Award in 2020 and voted Outstanding Board Member in 2006.
The association honor Canny’s life’s work by establishing the Cathy Canny Paralegal Scholarship Fund, to provide for five eligible paralegal student memberships in the Indiana Paralegal Association for one year and $2,500 toward tuition for one student recipient.
