GREENFIELD
Paul “Jerry” Andis, age 78, of Greenfield, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022 at Community East Hospital. Born on May 16, 1943, in Maywood, California, he was the son of Paul Andis and Thelma (Wilson) Andis. Jerry married Mary Rasnick on April 3, 1965 in Greenfield.
Before retiring in 2009, he worked for GM Allisons as a set up operator for over 31 years. Jerry was a member of UAW and various bowling leagues in Indianapolis. He like fishing and bowling, and even bowled a perfect 300 game.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Andis of Greenfield; children, David Lee Andis of Eminence, IN, Timothy Curtis Bossard of Greenfield, Paula Dee Brokering of Shelbyville, and Anthony Wayne Andis (Karrie) of Indianapolis; several grandchildren; and sister, Roma Jean Crump. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Thelma Andis; sister, Marjorie Fair; and stepson, Fred Alton Bossard.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary &Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the mortuary. Burial will follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Greenfield.
