GREENFIELD
Lee Osborne, age 79, of Greenfield, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022 at Hancock Regional Hospital. He was born in Goshen, New York on February 21, 1942 to Viola Lily (Williams) McDonald. He was a 1960 graduate of Goshen High School and served in the United States Air Force. On February 14, 1995, Lee married Ann Cooper in Greenfield.
He worked as a State Trooper in Connecticut from 1969 to 1989 before retiring. He attended Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church. Lee liked horses, Lincoln Town cars, going to the casino, doing yardwork and cooking. He loved to travel, tinker around in his garage, and spend time with his family, especially his wife.
Lee is survived by his loving wife, Ann Osborne of Greenfield; children, Lee Osborne Jr. of Vermont, Arthur Osborne of Minnesota, James Osborne of Texas, Lindsay Osborne of Indiana, Eric Jensen of Colorado, Michael Dutcher of Texas, Jeffrey Dutcher of California, and Leigh Ann Dickey of Pennsylvania; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, and siblings, George McDonald of New York, Thomas McDonald of Texas and Jane Museti of South Carolina. He was preceded in death by his mother, Viola McDonald; and brother, Robert Osborne.
A Celebration of Life will be held on a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Erlewein Mortuary &Crematory in Greenfield.
