HANCOCK COUNTY — The county’s comprehensive plan team is holding an open house for visitors to view the plan’s community vision statement and strategic framework.
Visitors are invited to drop in anytime from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, in the chambers at the Hancock County Courthouse Annex, 111 American Legion Place, Greenfield. The open house will be followed by a short presentation open to the public to the Hancock County Area Plan Commission.
The vision and strategic framework lay out the vision for growth and development in Hancock County and the key issues and principles that the comprehensive plan will focus on to achieve the vision. The vision and framework will serve as the foundation for the development of the Future Hancock plan elements, including the economic development strategy, thoroughfare plan and comprehensive plan/future land use.
