GREENFIELD — The Greenfield-Central school board of trustees is seeking a new member after the death of longtime member Kathy Dowling.
Dowling — who worked as an educator in the school system for 32 years — was serving her third term on the school board, representing District 4 since January of 2013.
The board must now appoint someone to complete Dowling’s term, which runs through Dec. 31, 2024.
Interested Greenfield-Central community members who reside in the southeast quadrant of the school district (south of Interstate 70 and east of State Road 9) should submit a letter of interest to the school board president, Dan Brown, at [email protected] by 4 p.m. Dec. 3.
Questions about the vacancy may be directed to the school district’s main office at 317-462-4434.
