Greenfield
William (Bill) Joseph Krauth, age 66, of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Hancock Regional Hospital. He was born in Beech Grove on May 22, 1955 to Dennis G. Krauth and Lillian R. (Hager) Krauth. He graduated from Triton Central High School in 1974 and went on to trade school for welding.
Mr. Krauth loved music and was an avid guitar player as well as a teacher. He was also interested in gardening, specifically bonsai trees.
He is survived by his daughters Shauna (Ireland) Montgomery and Amber Krauth; son, William Jr. (Carla) Krauth; brother, Jerry (Holly) Krauth; sisters, Linda Popp, Denise (Gene) Stinson, and Trina (Greg) Shamblin; grandchildren Jacob, Caleb, Blake, Layla Krauth, Madison and Ireland Jr. Montgomery, Austin (Kylee) Smith, Ariel, Brayden, Dilynn Krauth as well as great-grandchildren Karson and Kameron Smith and Hadleigh Montgomery. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Lillian Krauth.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 19th, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will follow the visitation starting at 2:00 p.m.
