GREENFIELD
Linda (LaVallee) Crim, age 79, of Greenfield, passed away Monday, November 1, 2021. She was born in Shirley, Indiana on February 16, 1942 to Wesley LaVallee and Ruth (Baker) LaVallee. She graduated from Greenfield-Central High School in 1960. On June 24, 1960, Linda married the love of her life, Larry Crim in Greenfield.
She was the print shop manager at AT&T in Indianapolis until retiring in 2001, when she began her favorite job of taking care of her grandkids. Linda was a member of AT&T Pioneers and Forest Haus Kennel Club. She served as a Girl Scout leader for many years and was a contributor to Riley Children’s Hospital Foundation. She enjoyed spending her time with gardening, horses, dogs, knitting and crafts. However, her favorite past time was spending time with her grandchildren and hearing what was going on in their lives.
Linda is survived by her three of her daughters, Lesley Ellis, Lecia Overley (Vicki) and Lori Tutrow (Dan); son-in-law, Trent Riley ; grandchildren, Jacob, Nathaniel (Elizabeth), Micah, Seth, David, Kirstin (Charles), Allison, Kameron, Kolton, Kaylee, and Keegan; great-granddaughter, Hailie; and sister, Jan Kirkhoff; her four-legged children, Nick and Gigi. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Ruth; husband, Larry; daughter, Luanne Riley; and brother, Ron LaVallee.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary &Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will follow the visitation starting at 2:00 p.m., with Trent Riley officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
