GREENFIELD — The Jim Dandy Restaurant in Greenfield, which has been shuttered since announcing a temporary closure in December 2020, has permanently closed.

Dave Reasner, President of J.D. Restaurants, Inc., owners and operators of the Jim Dandy Restaurants in Greenfield, Tipton and Noblesville, as well as 12 Dairy Queens, announced the closure Tuesday in a news release.

“We recognize the impact of the pandemic on Greenfield Jim Dandy and are very lucky to have had the support for many years at this location,” Reasner said. “As a business with strong ties to the Greenfield community since 1955, we hope to see many of our guests at our Noblesville and Tipton locations. We are very thankful for the support of our loyal Greenfield customers over these many years, and very much want to see them. The Noblesville and Tipton Jim Dandys will remain open, and we hope that our Greenfield supporters will join us at those stores.”
