HANCOCK COUNTY — The team leading Hancock County’s comprehensive plan update will be at a festival and in other parts of the county this weekend.
The Future Hancock Planning Team will have a booth at the Pumpkins and Peddlers Festival in Shirley Friday, Oct. 15, and Saturday, Oct. 16.
Also on Saturday, Oct. 16, the team will be in the following locations, and visitors are encouraged to stop by for an informal discussion:
9:30-10:30 a.m.: Buck Creek Fire Station, 5809 Airport Boulevard, Greenfield
1-1:30 p.m.: Green Township Fire Department, 8031 State Road 9, Greenfield
2:30-3 p.m.: United Methodist Church, 244 N. Thomas St., Willow Branch
4:-4:30 p.m.: Charlottesville Fire Department, 10450 E. U.S. 40, Charlottesville
On Sunday, Oct. 17, the team will be in the following locations:
11 a.m.-noon: Town of Spring Lake Community Building, 2667 Hillside Drive
2-2:30 p.m.: Bell Mortuary, 1444 U.S. 52, Fountaintown
4-4:30 p.m.: Shirley Town Hall, 409 Main St., Shirley
