HANCOCK COUNTY — Three more county residents have recently died from COVID-19, raising its total to 169.
Two of the latest fatalities, included in updated figures from the Indiana Department of Health Monday evening, were age 80 or older; one was a woman and one was a man. The third recent death, included in a state health department update Tuesday afternoon, was a man in his 70s.
Hancock County also added 31 new COVID-19 cases from Monday.
Indiana added 89 new deaths Tuesday, occurring between Sept. 21 and 27, raising its total to 15,069. The state also added 2,378 new cases from Monday.
