GREENFIELD — Next up on Greenfield Main Street’s busy event schedule is the Old National Road Yard Sale event from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 5 and 6 on the Courthouse lawn and plaza. The annual 820-mile event stretches from Baltimore, Maryland, to St. Louis, Missouri, with literally hundreds of yard sales, garage sales and rummage sales all along the way. GREENFIELD — The Wooden Bear Brewing Company, 21 E. North St., will sponsor a Comedy Night at 7:30 p.m. June 9. Hosted by Tyson Cox and headlined by nationally-known stand-up comedian, writer and podcaster Brent Terhune, tickets are $10 in advance at bit.ly/3ok5IxC and $15 at the door. Attendees must be 18 or older to attend.

CUMBERLAND — Celebrate National Trails Day along the Pennsy Trail in the town of Cumberland. All events will be at Lions Park, 301 N. Buck Creek Road. The day begins at 8 a.m. June 5 with The Cumberland Trails Run, a five-mile competitive run and a one-mile family fun run/walk. Register to participate at raceroster.com/events/2021/46495/cumberland-trails-run for $25 or $10 for the family fun run/walk. Participants of both events receive a free Kona Ice at the finish line. Proceeds from the event will go to the Cumberland Police Departments C.A.R.E. Unit. From noon until 4 p.m., Lions Park will have food trucks, giveaways, safety demonstrations, games in the greenway and a live band. INDIANAPOLIS — GRT Hot Glass Studios, owned by Greg Thompson, will host a First Friday Art Tour from 5 to 9 p.m. June 4 at GRT Hot Glass Studios, 6400 Brookville Rd., Suite D in Indianapolis. The tour will include a showing of the thesis exhibition artwork of glass artist and Ball State graduate Molly Lyons, live glass blowing demonstrations, class sign-ups and refreshments.
