Registration open for Art Studio Camp

GREENFIELD — Registration is open for Greenfield Parks and Recreation Art Studio Camp. Instructor Rachel Holmes will offer four four-day themed camps for kids ages 6 to 12 beginning the week of June 14. Camp for 6 to 8-year-olds will meet from 9 to 11 a.m.; camp for 9 to 12-year-olds will meet from noon to 3 p.m. Camp themes are: Nature & Art (June 14 – 17); Games & Toys (June 21 – 24); Castles, Kings & Queens (July 12 – 15); and Living the Dream (July 19 – 21). Teens and tweens can make a bird feeder

GREENFIELD/NEW PALESTINE – Teens and tweens ages 9 to 18 can pick up a Take-and-Make bird feeder kit during open library hours on May 24 at the Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road, Greenfield, or the New Palestine Branch Library at 5731 West U.S. Highway 52, New Palestine. The kit contains a jar, yarn, macramé rope, a popsicle stick, pipe cleaners, and a baggie of bird seed to get you started. No registration necessary. One kit per participant. Peewinkle’s Puppets offer Irvington camp

INDIANAPOLIS – Peewinkle’s Puppets will host a summer puppet camp July 12 through 16 at the Irving Theatre, 5506 E. Washington St. The themed Monster Camp will begin a show on July 12 given by the instructors and end with a performance by the campers for families at 3 p.m. July 16. Camp is divided by age groups: Mini-Monsters (age 6 to 8) and Junior Monsters (age 9 and up). Camp runs daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuition for the week-long camp is $225; reserve your spot with a $50 deposit by June 7.
