Hancock County Children’s Theatre now taking registration

HANCOCK COUNTY — Applications for the 2021 Hancock County Children’s Theater Workshop are now available for all Hancock County students currently in grades 4 through 8. This year’s production is, “Rockin’ Robin Hood,” a musical take on the original legend of Robin Hood. Approximately 125 children with talents in the visual or performing arts will be selected for participation. Children must be available between 8:30 and 11:30 a.m. each day, Monday through Friday, from June 2 through 25 in order to be considered for the program. The workshop will be held at Greenfield-Central High School, 810 Broadway. Performance dates are June 25 and June 26 at 7 p.m. Application are by March 19. The cost for children accepted to the workshop is $125. Applications are available online at hancockcountychildrenstheater.org. Library offers Take-and-Make suncatcher

GREENFIELD/NEW PALESTINE – Kids aged pre-kindergarten through 5th grade can welcome spring with a colorful make-and-take suncatcher kit. The kit contains everything needed to complete the project. Kits can be picked up during open library hours on March 22 at the Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road, Greenfield, or the New Palestine Branch Library at 5731 West U.S. Highway 52, New Palestine. No registration necessary. One kit per participant. Hunt for Easter Eggs at the Children’s Museum

INDIANAPOLIS — The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, 3000 N. Meridian St., offers two opportunities for a Children’s Museum-style Easter Egg Hunt at 8 a.m. March 27 or 28. Bunnysaurus Rex has hidden special eggs throughout the Riley Children’s Health Sports Legend Experience for kids to find. The $32.50 adult tickets and $25 children’s tickets include a box breakfast and an egg-collecting bag to decorate. Registered groups will be assigned to their own table in the Food Court to enjoy breakfast and complete their activities. All program supplies will be sanitized, and hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes will be available. Masks are required when not eating.
