GREENFIELD
Linda Jane (Couch) Morris, age 71, lifelong resident of Hancock county, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at her home. She was born on February 27, 1950 in Greenfield to Thomas and Geraldine (Girt) Couch. She attended Mt. Comfort High School. Linda married Michael Morris on August 24, 1996.
She had worked for Western Electric and later for Brookside Corporation where she worked as a packing engineer for seven years. Everyone loved Linda’s cooking and baking, and she made beautiful wedding cakes. She especially loved time spent with her kids and grandkids. She adored and spoiled her kitty cats and enjoyed adding items to her kitty cat items collection.
Linda is survived by her husband, Michael Morris; children, Brian Horner, Kelly Cox and Scott Horner; two grandchildren, Xander Reid and Zoe Cox; one great-grandchild, Eden Reid. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Geraldine Couch; sister, Marsha Russell; and brother, Bill Couch.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 15, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A private graveside service will take place at Philadelphia Cemetery in Greenfield. As a reminder, the government mandate requires guests to wear masks when inside our building. We must limit the number of guests at a time and please practice social distancing.
